Our Origin Story

 

GeekHaven began not as a business, but as a tradition—a weekly gathering deemed “Geek Night” of friends around a tabletop, dice in hand, imagination unleashed. Every week, we would meet at Chris’s house where laughter echoed late into the night. It didn’t take long before we lovingly dubbed the space GeekHaven.

As the games grew, so did our bonds. Amy and Derek’s friendship turned into a romance, and eventually into marriage—proof that even unexpected outcomes from dice rolls can lead to a happily ever after. Meanwhile, Chris, our unofficial leader and self proclaimed "Guild Dad" inspired us to take our collective talents beyond the game table leading by example by being part of multiple podcasts, writing his own novel based which he uses as his world for table top campaigns, and writing for a multiple media outlets.

What started as a hobby became a calling. We realized that the custom-painted minis and immersive accessories we created for our own campaigns could bring joy to other tabletop adventurers too. So we turned GeekHaven into more than just a name—it became a brand, a business, and a way to share our passion with the world.
